c. OCR/ICR
We use Optical Character Recognition software to obtain the data from an image file and convert into a text format, which the clients can browse through, filter, and review effortlessly.At Maestro, we utilize the Intelligent Character Recognition tool as an extension of OCR software to capture handwritten zonal information from documents. We extract data from specific fields and deliver it to the client in the requested format. Our services ensure that the auto-converted texts are extensively checked for errors on client requests and are delivered on-time.
d. Redaction Services
Legal documents and case particulars, generally contain sensitive information, which poses a security threat of privacy violation. Maestro's redaction services aim at protecting the client's data by concealing key information as required by the clients. We ensure that the information shared with us is safeguarded, and the requested fields are masked thoroughly. We use advanced software that enables us to flag the fields that are required to be redacted, after which the data will be discreetly overlaid. Case Study 1
Job Description: Request for Logical Document Determination (LDD) of 600k images with four field coding - Time Frame: 30 days.
The Challenge
Given source file was in pdf. Being financial documents, it contained ample number of hand written documents. Expected image to document ratio was 1:3 but after LDD ratio was 1:1.5 hence number of records to be coded doubled and it had to be coded within the given time frame.
The Solution
Our experienced management team were able to assess the image to document ratio at the onset of LDD. Hence, we planned our production with two teams one involved for LDD and the other parallelly working on the coding. As there were hand written documents involved we used customized tools/scripts to simplify the processing. As LDD was completed the same team was involved to do the quality check to ensure coding accuracy. With parallel planning and execution, we were able to complete the project within the given time frame.
The Outcome
We processed LDD and produced 400k records. The coded records were delivered on rolling basis. The project completed well within the given time frame of 30 days.
Case Study 2
Job Description: Request for Time card coding of 100k records.
Time Frame: 10 days
The Challenge
Given source file had only hand written documents hence not easy to identify time in/time out, day, and working hours. There was chaos in understanding AM/PM entry in the records which had a direct impact on the working hours. Moreover, there was instruction to mention working hours specifically for holidays also.
The Solution
The hand written documents we processed by double pass entry each batch. After coding we compare the entries through a tool and clear the errors. This way quality is ensured. We verified the working hours by cross checking the given total hours with the coded total working hours. Since we used these quality methodologies, we were able to complete the project in time.
The Outcome
We processed 100k records. The coded records were delivered 99% accuracy. Our efforts were appreciated by the client.
Case Study 3
Job Description: Request for redact of 10k images.
Time Frame: 2 days
The Challenge
We were to redact sensitive information like Name and Social security number. Client committed to run auto-redaction tools owing to short TAT. However, documents could be only manually redacted. Moreover, the source document was in single pdf.
The Solution
Our experienced team assessed for manual redaction. We split the single pdf into 10K images and distributed to our process team. They redacted to sensitive information. This was counter checked by our quality team. The images were reassembled properly into the single pdf output for client use.
The Outcome
We redacted 10k images. The redacted output was delivered within the given time frame.
